Chaos Faction is a flash fighting game I found over on Newgrounds. It was kind of fun so I did an LP of it. Weird how that works sometimes, right?
Story? I dunno. You’re a guy. That’s a guy. Beat up that guy. Don’t get beat up.
Gameplay? I dunno. It’s a stage based fighting game. You take your little ball man and use your fists, and weapons that spawn in the stage, and any traps that exist in the world to beat your opponent. It’s kind of a smash brothers type thing.
Worst part is probably having to use the keyboard to play the game. Other than that it’s fine.
There are three difficulty levels which just make the stage more dangerous and the ai is a little better.
The graphics are good enough for what the game is. It is a pretty simple flash game from about 87 years ago.
You can use any of the prebuilt character models, they all play exactly the same, or make your own by mixing and matching different bodies, arms, legs, etc which you unlock as you play through the game.
The music is high impact, high action, techo rock kind of stuff. I don’t love it, but it’s good for what the game asks for.
It’s a neat little time sink of a game. Fairly short, nothing really groundbreaking, but it is fun. That’s the important thing.
