Update is a bit late this week, I was busy doing stuff on Sunday. You’ll be fine.
New games added to the site include: Castle of Dragon, All the Castlevania games (One, Two, Two Revamped, Three, Aria, Dawn, Portrait, Order, Bloodlines), Cat Girl Without Salad, Chaos Faction, Chasm, both Chicken Police games (Into the Hive, Paint it Red), Chrono Cross & Trigger, Chuck Rock, and Clash At Demonhead. A total of 19 games if I can count that high this early in the morning. It was a productive week. In terms of reviews, it was less productive with Barnyard Blast being the last written review so far.
We have new episodes of Dragon Quest 11 and, of course, the new stream of Gal Guardians is also happening. I’m at the part of DQ11 in the recording where I’m doing a lot of item farming and crafting, so that’s fun and exciting. Of course I’ll do my best to keep all the tedious stuff out of the videos, but I promise nothing.
I’m slowly working on another little plan for the games that appear in a series. If you tuned in for the Sunday morning stream you probably caught a glimpse of it. If not, here’s a link to ActRaiser in which the feature appears. I don’t love how it’s currently setup, but I’m working on it. Essentially if you check out a game that is part of a series, this will show you all other games in said series in as close to chronological order as I can get it. I need to organize it a bit better but you’ve got the idea I think. I’m planning on doing something like that for all the games that are in the same series, chronological or not. So the Final Fantasy games, for instance, will not be in order of story progression as they don’t have anything to do with each other. Meanwhile the Castlevania games are all part of the same timeline, so they’ll show up in the carousel in story order, not game order. Make sense? Sure it does.
Doing some fiddling with the site theme again. Still haven’t found one that I like as well as the one that quit working, but I think we’ve got a decent enough one going here.
Buy Me A Coffee has gone bye bye.
And speaking of bye bye…
